I discovered the joys and fustration that is the Resident Evil games when RE4 came out for the PS2. Unlike most RE fans, I love Ada, Leon/Ada and the Resident Evil movies (I think, mainly because I saw them before I played the game.)

A Conflict of Interests

Another Time Leaving

Ashley Sticks With the Merchant

RE4. There was many a time during the game where I wish I could've left Ashley with the Merchant. Hilarious set of one-sentence bits that also form a larger narrative.

Bittersweet

Movie-verse. Alice and Carlos before and during Extinction. Offer a possible fate for Jill and Angie (doesn't follow the novel canon) and breaks your heart at the end.

RE2. A trip into Ada's mind as she confronts Leon one last time in RE2.

RE4. Funny little fic which revolves around Leon, Ashley and the Merchant.

Movie-verse. From the summary: "In her memory, Jill’s hair is always straighter and Carlos’ smile is brighter." Alice remembers what used to be. I think it follows the canon set by the novelization.

Partners to the End

RE4. Another series of one-sentence ficlets, this time focusing on Leon and Ada's relationship. (I have to disagree with #49 though -- using a bow gun on Krauser is suicidal.)

What Waits Behind the Silence
PG-13 | Horror/Suspense
RE4. A great mood piece that gives us a little look into Leon's frame of mind and captures a part of the game that reminds you that it's called surivial horror for a reason.

Yea, Though I Run
