I might as well get this out of the way because I'm going straight to hell for this -- I'm one of those sickos that (in theory) likes the Joan/CBG 'ship. I say 'in theory' since I don't like most of the fics centering around this pairing. Go figure. I tend to prefer Joan/CBG in a non-blasphemous, barely 'shippy way.

After An Afternoon

Most Joan/Adam fics are too sappy for my tastes. However, this one involving Joan attempting to "[Figure] Out Adam" is just right.

Ectasy and Agony

A fallen Joan who hasn't quite fallen. The last two lines of the fic just sums everything up beautifully.

Post-'Silence' fic. Goes the 'God has a chat with Joan' route. Also I like the incorporation of Helen at the end.

Leda, Mary and the Rest

I first avoided this fic because it was labeled Grace/CBG. Then because I had nothing else to read I steeled my stomach and dove in. I am so glad I did. It's a great Grace-centric fic and not quite what one expects from the labeling.

A sort of slight AU/Missing Scene 'Recreation' fic. This one leans a bit more in the Joan/CBG 'ship than my other rec's, but still can be read in whichever way you want to take it.

Joan/God-ish. Short fic in which Joan looks for God.

Snapshots of a Hero's Journey

I don't normally like drabbles (too short for me), but string a whole bunch together to form a larger story and I'm hooked. It's got a healthy (unhealthy?) dose of Joan/CBG in it, but don't let that scare you off. The author makes it work without turning God into a hormonal teenager.

JoA/OC crossover. More of an OC focus, but features Joan's God(s) as we know and love 'em.

The Darkest Night
PG-13 | Drama/Angst
Though I really don't see Joan as suicidal and I really dislike those types of fics, I like this one. The inital Joan/CBG warning scared me, but honestly I see this more as Joan/God frienship than actual 'ship. Read into what you will.

The OTHER Cute Boy

Normally CBG-as-a-mortal fics have me running in the opposite direction, but the author manages to make it work (my only quibble is the 'nod to the actor' character name -- names like those tend to pull me out of a fic) and while it's got elements of Joan/God, Joan/Adam fans will not be disappointed.
